Maths Contest
In order to stimulate students' interest in learning mathematics, develop their mathematical potential and cultivate their ability of observation and analysis, recently Anqing Foreign Language School's Junior High Department of the west campus held a math competition for Grade 8.
Sepcifically, the competition was divided into two parts. One hundred students participated in the preliminary competition first, and then took part in the second round after passing the qualification. After the fierce competition, the judges selected the first, second and third prize contestants and Anqing Foreign Language School commended and rewarded the students who won the prizes.
All in all, this activity provides students with an opportunity to compete and a stage to display their talents. Moreover, in the process of competition, students feel the mystery of mathematics, experience the joy of success, expand their horizons of mathematics, and achieve the expected purpose of the activity. More remarkably, Anqing Foreign Language School will continue to provide a platform for students to showcase themselves, develop themselves and obtain self-growth, and encourage all students to study diligently and dare to challenge.
